MetalMania Videos: The Whole Package

In anticipation of our upcoming show at Tomcats West in Fort Worth on Saturday, January 22nd, us UriFolk took it upon ourselves to film some promo videos in the style of a certain 1980s-era sports entertanment entity, which now has something to do with saving pandas...

Whatcha Gonna Do, Brother?!?

Soon, the other bands on the bill were joining in on the fun, and a very entertaining series of videos resulted. In an effort to make things easier for you, the fans, we have decided to compile those videos here, chronologically, for your veiwing pleasure. Enjoy!




The whole incedent started with this:

In response to that initial video, Rustin Luther of the band American High, posted the following on the XtremeDFW forums:

American High will post a video response to this horrible verbal attack from the cowardly punks in the band URIZEN... We will not lay back and let some sissies in space man pajamas come disrepect our terf!!! Go back to your own planet and play slap fights with the girls you call band members. URIZEN claims to real a real band, with real talent... WRONG!!! Your nothing but a bunch of NERDS playing with robots and giant poop monsters, dancing to video game music! Take that 8 bit crap somewhere else!

Once American High got wind of this, they finally busted out the video camera and posted their own video:

Not content to sit by and allow such slander, URIZEN made this fuckin' ass thing:

Meanwhile, in East Texas, Jonny Pecker and the Beaver Bustin' Pickle Weasels were outraged by URIZEN's initial attack and issues this response:

Finally, URIZEN fired the last shot in a video that can only be described as... "masterful":
